So Ankiel has 3 more than any Cub, Ludwick has 2, and Lohse has a lower ERA than Lilly along with 10 wins.

This makes sense.

In the third, Murton gets a 2 RBI single with 2 out.

and gallagher is in line to get the win.

terrible trade for the cubs.

And what has Rich Harden done for us so far? Absolutely nothing. Jim Hendry has the buyers remorse.

Murton would have had 6 RBIs yesterday and the Cubs would've won.

Good job squirtin' Murton.

the theriot shift: putting all 7 fielders (minus the catcher/pitcher) on the right side of the diamond, and nobody is deeper than 225 feet.

the murton shift: all 7 fielders play infield.

The Cubs are 4.5 up and they're going to bury the Cards no matter how many more HR's Ankiel and Ludwick have than other Cub and Lohse' unexpected success.

Oh, I know. STL really doesn't have much of a chance. It shouldn't bother me so much. But it does.

the gun that the broadcast is using looks about 2-3 mph too fast. gallagher looks really good though; i hope he becomes a very good pitcher for them.

It's got to be fast. It clocked Gallagher in the first at 97. It also clocked Garland at 95.

the gameday pitches are generally in the 92-93 range, which seems more consistent with his scouting reports and with how he threw for the cubs.

struck out the side in the 5th!

It would make me very happy to see the Gallagher/Murton trade propel the A's to the playoffs.

It would make me very sad to see the Gallagher/Murton trade propel the A's to the world championship.

It's a good look for Sean.
