I wish we didn't have to use Woody last night and pitch him back to back days.

Santo saying Soto will probably get the day off tomorrow.

Damn, I wanted to see Harden pitch to Soto. Oh well. Geo needs his rest.

The selective memory of a Cub fan, ladies and gentlemen. It's the same reason the 2003 playoffs ended midway through the NLCS, and the 1998 season was won on a one game playoff with the Giants.

The awesomeness of that combo would make the world explode. It's in the bible I think.

By the way Aram's batflip was one of the most badass things ever.

I think we are all safe, if the awesomeness of Z and Soto didn't so it we should be ok. But, I hear it is getting cool in hell.

So, Howry is in line for the win then?

Yes. Marquis doesn't like this, however.

How Howry deserves credit for a win over Marquis in this situation is beyond me.

Marquis deserves it, but the offense decided to score when Marquis was out of the ballgame. What a shame.

But his performance likely keeps him in the rotation though.

He gets to keep his current job, that should make him happy enough. On that note, I hope this good outing has elevated his stock enough to unload him.

Or makes him more valuable in a trade

I don't care who gets the win...a win is a win
