Another BIG week for some teams:

Dishman's Dishmans (4-10) at Harrys Budcrew (7-7)

Alamo Stealth (7-7) at Raw Dawgs (10-4)

Galesburg Hand Sanitizers (8-6) at Lynx (6-8)

Tootielicious (10-4) at The Eyes of Texas(8-6)

Draconian Empire(7-7) at Northside Baseball(9-5)

Quakers(7-7) at Buddiga(4-10)

Voo Doo Bayou Bashers(5-9) at Fuzzy Logistics(8-6)

Severe Tooterstorms(5-9) at NC Cubs(7-7)

Games of the Week:

Tootielicious (10-4) at The Eyes of Texas(8-6)

Alamo Stealth (7-7) at Raw Dawgs (10-4)

These two games could potentially separate 1st and 2nd place in the East. They also will have a big impact on division placement within the West!

I didn't include the following games, but they're also big ones with regard to the playoff spots in both divisions:

Galesburg Hand Sanitizers (8-6) at Lynx (6-8)

Draconian Empire(7-7) at Northside Baseball(9-5)

Dishman's Dishmans (4-10) at Harrys Budcrew (7-7)

Voo Doo Bayou Bashers(5-9) at Fuzzy Logistics(8-6)

Severe Tooterstorms(5-9) at NC Cubs(7-7)

Looks to be another HUGE week for placement within the divisions! Should be a fun week! Can the Tootielicious streak vs the West continue?? If I win this week, it's a sweep vs the West division... Not gonna get my hopes up! I'm due for a loss soon!

Gonna be a tough week for me. I get a team that will have Lincecum twice, a red-hot Jon Lester, and CC making his Brewers debut. I have Hamels going twice, which is good. But I really need Volquez to turn it back around and get a start in the 20s this week.

Meche struggling vs. TB right now is helping me out.

I was happy to read that Brandon Webb is being bumped up to Tuesday for a 2 start week, but you have to figure that the second start will be a fairly short one considering he'll be pitching in the All Star game and they'll want to give him an early start to kick off the second half.

Time for me to stop my three-week slide and get back on the winning track. I'm still in decent playoff contention if I start winning again soon.

i was looking at the schedule earlier, and i think you and HBC face off in the next couple of weeks. that will be a big one.

We face off next week. It will be an uphill battle for the loser, since we're both currently one game out of the playoffs as it is.

I remember last year the short week following the All-Star Game didn't count, but it looks like it does this year. That will likely mean an imbalance in pitching starts between teams, since there won't be any two-start pitchers. Only teams with 7 starting pitchers on their roster would even have a chance at 7 starts, and even then it isn't assured because some starters won't pitch at all next week (especially on teams like the Cubs who are off Thursday and have only 3 games next week).

Friday. And against the Brewers. So, yeah I think we all want Volquez to do pretty well. Who's with me?

Here's to Volquez getting roughed up but the Reds coming from behind and winning.

Pitching starts are very unpredictable. You had a 3 to 1 pitching advantage against me on Sunday, and I ended up with more pitching points on the day.

Every team has at least 5 starters and most have closer to 6. Only 5th starters will likely miss starts next week, so I think it will be fun to have a middle of the season dash for the cash.

I'd rather have the week than not have it, and I have a pretty tough opponent in Raisin. I'd rather see a 5 start limit placed on teams than skip the week altogether.

I'm shocked that Shane didn't change his first start of the week to start Dice-K and Baker, maybe as opposed to Pineiro and Owings... Maybe I just lucked out and he forgot to or wasn't able to set his line up!

The trading deadline is the end of July???
I was thinking that last year it was July 31, just like the major league trading deadline. I'm not 100% sure about that.

My pitching is absolutely horrific this week. Double digit negative points for both my starts so far (Harang and Olson) and even K-Rod had double digit negative points today.

It's actually Olson and Rodriguez I'm complaining about. I don't mind the Cubs torching Harang. :D

After 4 days this week my team hasn't even reached 30 points yet.

Anybody know what the lowest weekly score in Roadkill history is? If I'm going to stink this bad may as well do it in style. :D

Actually, I think it was you, against me last year or 2 years ago. Haven't had a chance to look at the league history yet.

It could have been; if so two years ago seems more likely, since that year I was still near the very bottom of the league and last year I was .500.

EDIT: My worst week ever was against you in 2005 (133 points); whether that's the worst week ever in the league for anybody I don't know. I'm well on my way to falling short of that this week.

God damn Garza. Now only up about 30 (after Owings 10 points are taken away) and Shane has 2 starts left. Gonna lose this week... ugh! Need a horrible outing from either Dice K or Kuroda.
