this week could be decided tomorrow with four starters going for EofT.

Yeah I was looking at that and I don't like it. None of the matchups are really bad, but I still don't like it. I need 100 points tomorrow.

all of your starters have pretty tough matchups this week, really.

I know, but I am trying to be optimistic damn it. Don't have to win, just don't get shelled. I am most worried about Owings tomorrow. Though I am expecting Sanchez to get shelled for you too ;-).

not saying that it won't happen...as sanchez is prone to some blow-ups...but he's been pretty much lights out for a while now and the dodgers ain't exactly lighting up the scoreboards. i'm more concerned about the duke facing the white sox and even dempster facing the giants.

you're pitchers have faced/will face cws, det, @hou, tb, milwaukee, and the mets. meanwhile, i've faced minn, cleveland, sf, cws, lad, seattle and oakland. those matchups certainly favor me.

Your matchups are certainly in your favor.

if i were a member of this league that was looking toward the future, i would probably inquire as to the availability of john danks, who is the 13th best SP in roadkill and has TWO exemptions left. not telling anyone how to do their job or anything.

i can't decide which waiver wire pickup i like more...danks (3rd in the AL in era) or the duke (1st in the AL in era).

If you had any confidence in him continuing that production, there's no way you'd look to trade him!

well, it would obviously depend on what i was getting in return. it's getting to the point now where there aren't many SP's that i would give him up for in a 1-for-1 deal. it's not like i'm going to take randy wolf or somebody in return for him.

Snyder went on the DL, replaced him with Max Ramirez.

Getting sick of all this DL swapping I am doing. One comes off another goes on.

sure would be nice if uggla could get healthy in time to participate in a four game series at coors.

nah, we want to keep this matchup as close as possible ;-)

Maybe I should!

That picture of Kevin Love in your sig looks like he is doing that dance from the "Three Amigos".

Does anyone know if everything is ok with Chris? The reason being is that I've sent him several PM's and trade offers over the last few weeks with no response. He also has Marcum in his lineup, who won't even get a start this week. If he's OK and not interested in participating anymore, I have a friend (Matt's brother) who is more than willing to take over.

He hasn't read my PM from before I went out of town, so it seems like he's not even around his comp for whatever reason. Hope it's not serious.

Another nice outing (12 points combined) from my tag-team Angels bullpen. I believe Rodriguez has now tied John Smoltz for the most saves before the All-Star Game.

i'm getting sick of that little combo. i can't wait til krod quits lucking into four save opps a week.

i'll take being down only one point with a 4-2 start advantage the rest of the way. still can't figure out how piniero's 5 ip, 11 h, 4 er start is not a negative start, but i'll take it i guess. and i liked dempster's score a lot better before he gave up that homer...

My match with Fuzzy Logistics is for all practical purposes tied. I lead by 5.5 points at the moment, and we each have three starts remaining.

I've lost one of my potential starts; Harang has been pushed back from tomorrow to Tuesday due to forearm stiffness. Not that I was planning to use him anyway the way he's been sucking lately.

great night tonight.

blanton's last four starts: -25, 25, -18, 25. guess which two starts i had him active for and which two i had him benched for?

colorado and florida play an 18-17 game. uggla (injured) and hawpe (terrible) combine for -0.75 points. every player in the rockie lineup has at least one hit, rbi, and run scored. everyone outside of baker (and hawpe, of course) have some combination of runs, hits and rbis that add up to SEVEN. SEVEN! hawpe: ZERO. that is just remarkable.
