I'm instituting a new policy for the DSL games since I know next to nothing about any of the guys down there. I don't know who the bonus babies are, nor do I know what kinds of ceilings and projections they have.

So, rather than play a guessing game and list guys based on age, I'm going to keep it simple. I'll list their box score links, but won't provide a breakdown of the player performances. If there is support for listing certain players, I'd be amenable to listing them.

For now, I'll just stick with scores and links.

Last night on the Boise telecast the guy said that they were going to make a roster move after the game but he wasn't allowed to tell who it was.

Maybe Vitters to Peoria with Smith finally moving up to Daytona?

Doesn't sound like it. Chen to Daytona, Johnston to the DL, Rundle and Muyco to Peoria.

Great to see Hart back.

believe it or not, the start of the daytona game is being delayed by rain. hard to believe that thunderstorms could be a problem on the florida peninsula in the late afternoon.

Shenanigans I say!

Pawelek is not good. Ridling is on fire. He needs to be in Peoria, as does Vitters.

I don't see why putting Vitters in Peoria right now is a no brainer. He's just now finding his swing for the first time in his pro career. You know he's got to be feeling very confident. He's only 19. Let him finish the year in Boise, and put up some very good numbers, then play everyday next year in Peoria.

I can see the argument for both sides, but with a player like Vitters who was a top pick and a top hitting prospect the moment he was drafted, I would like to push him a little bit. I won't be disappointed if they let him hit .330 in Boise for a couple months just to let him get the confidence up, but you'd think if they were confident enough to start him in Peoria, they'd at least consider it after having success at Boise for a while. *IF he keeps hitting well at Boise*

Aramis isn't going anywhere any time soon and Vitters needs to work on his defense, and in the worst way. Let him stay in Boise. I'm just happy he's hitting somewhere.

I guess an 18 year old hitting in short season ball isn't the worst thing in the world. I just would like to see one of our prospects actually MOVE through the system, instead of repeating levels each year.

If McGehee can hit enough, any way he makes the team as the backup catcher next year, or is he an the type that won't be able to handle it enough to play it even as a backup? Seems like he'd be a decent backup option until Castillo is ready.

He's more of a backup CI that could fill catcher in a pinch.
