It's fantasy baseball, people! It isn't life or death. There's not even money involved. I understand Fish hasn't been active, but all the constant bitching about every single thing is really making this league less fun. I can't imagine how Juan feels, given that he's the GM of the league. I'd hate to think that this league will soon become not worth the hassle for him.

that point is very close.

We've all had our complaints from time to time, but you're right it's just a game amongst friends. I'd hate for Juan to feel that way as well. I can tell you that Roadkill has been a great deal of fun for me since the beginning. (Even if my team has sucked for most of Roadkill's existence.)

I will say that we've always been pretty fortunate to have active owners. There's always an exception to the rule, but for the most part we have excellent participation. If any of us have problems with how a particular owner we can voice those in a respectful way. I think this has happened in the past and owners have been replaced for being inactive. I would venture to say that if Fishbulb isn't active the remainder of the year that Juan would probably look for a replacement.

Naturally, the pitcher I spaced out and forgot to activate for his start scores more points than all the pitchers I did have active combined. ](*,)

Getting back on track, I have almost a 20 point lead with a 1 start advantage over Raw. But my 2-3 record against the East isn't great. I need this win to stay tied for 1st, and I am sure Tootie would be happy in the process.

It doesn't make it fun for me when I make offers for a player and receive no response, meanwhile that same player gets traded to someone else for a lesser package.

If my complaints about it are making it unfun for others, then I won't mention it again.

I hate to see Navin back to do his team. I'm kind of worried, because Navin has a 3 start advantage, even though I'm up 120 or so points. I just have a bad feeling about this week for some reason. On another note, I hope Chris is ok. Still haven't heard from him on my trade offer or my PM, and he's usually pretty active.

Juan,

How do you decide what pitching start gets nixed when a team has more than 7 starts? Does the opposing team get to make that decision?

Draconian Empire has 8 starts this week, 3 of them today.

I axe the last start.

Not much incentive for a manager to make sure they don't go over in starts for the week.

It probably means the difference between me winning or losing this week, but what the hell, my team doesn't deserve to win anyway.

That is true but I think its fair. Most of the time, people just miscount.

I agree... and knowing Doug and his history in the league, I'm sure it wasn't intentional.

I think he was just out of town or too busy to check in. I mentioned in the game chat a few days back that he needed to pull someone from his rotation, but I never saw him in the game chats until late Sunday night.

very fortunate to win last week considering fielder, uggla and rollins combined for 10.75 and blanton and dempster combined for -44. thank goodness for the duke and jonathan sanchez.

looks like i'm the big loser in the russell martin trade. at least sanchez has been good (and exempt).
