File this one under "Who Cares?"

Link.

The Baltimore Orioles designated utility infielder Freddie Bynum for assignment before Sunday's series finale with the Milwaukee Brewers.

Dusty, that's who.

Jay Bruce had better not put up a couple of consecutive 0-for games

Boom Boom got released? How dare those Orioles release Boom Boom. As we speak, Baker and Jockertity are "heated discussion" about bring in Boom Boom.

Please explain Tony Womack's 2004 season. Go ahead, try not to use pixie dust.

I don't think any team has ever done as well as the Cardinals while having a quality starting rotation on the DL: Carpenter, Mulder, Wainwright, Clement, and Wellemeyer. If all of those guys are healthy, that's a mighty rotation. I doubt they'll ever see more than a handful of quality starts out of Carpenter, Mulder, and Clement though.

somebody should start a thread where illinguy, LLF and cubsgm can compete to see who can make more whiny sniveling remarks about the Cardinals

let the slurp off begin!

statistical chance? womack wasn't amazing in 2004 or anything. he got lucky on balls in play. he still couldn't hit for power and didn't draw many walks. are the cards lucky because they got an okay tony womack in 2004?

Yeah. What kind of Tony Womack did we get? any other team that got him?

jeez, every thread i read eventually dissolves into the same three whiners crying about how lucky the cardinals are.

Which further dissolves with the same one or two whiners crying about others crying about how lucky the cardinals are.

so quit whining about the cardinals so the whining about the whining will stop.

Hell no. That wouldn't be any fun. I never whined about the cardinals or believed in the pixie dust until after you guys started whining about the whiners.

Cool it with the sniping over which sniveler is sniveling more, because no one is interested in who wins that snivelfest.
