Was that stat they just showed the list of teams with the most 5-run innings in the majors?

Hahahah, I can't believe the Cubs have 15 innings of 5 runs or more

SIT MARMOL DOWN MY GOD.

Normally, yes, but he's coming off his worst outing as a reliever. I don't have a problem with putting him out there just to let him remember that he's damn good.

Perhaps. I'd rather wait an inning or two though, incase Marquis or someone gets in trouble.

Did they just say that Edmonds is getting a pro-rated league minimum salary this year??

That's from the Cubs, I believe. He's still getting paid by both San Diego and St. Louis, if I'm not mistaken.

For clarification from Cots:

# signed as a free agent 5/14/08 (Chicago pays pro-rated portion of $0.39M ML minimum - about $0.29M - with SD paying about $5.71M and St. Louis paying $2M)

# SD requested release waivers 5/9/08

If love to see Marquis make it through this one. with Wise, probably Thome, and Cabrera coming up, theres a good chance.
