Raw Dawgs (8-3) at Dishman's Dishmans (4-7)

Galesburg Hand Sanitizers (5-6) at Alamo Stealth (7-4)

Tootielicious (7-4) at Lynx (6-5)

Harrys Budcrew (5-6) at The Eyes of Texas (6-5)

Quakers (6-5) at Draconian Empire (4-7)

Buddiga (4-7) at Fuzzy Logistics (6-5)

Severe Tooterstorms 3-8) at Voo Doo Bayou Bashers (4-7)

NC Cubs (7-4) at Northside Baseball (6-5)

Co-Match Up Of The Week:

Tootielicious vs. Lynx

NC Cubs vs. NSBB

I couldn't pick between these two, so there's two this week.

My team continues to give up points like they are going out of style. Between my team and my opponents teams, one of us has had the high score for the week in 6 of the 11 weeks to date. More often than not, it's my opponents putting up the big score.

stupid interleague games...

News: The New York Times reports that Yankees SP Chien-Ming Wang's foot injury is showing all the symptoms of a serious Lisfranc ligament issue, a problem that could sideline Wang for the rest of the season. Yankees RP Brian Bruney sustained a similar injury when he tripped while covering first base in April and is expected to miss a minimum of three months.

Wow, I'm all alone in first place!

Big game against abuck who has won 2 in a row...got to keep winning because I think BBB's defense will improve soon enough.

i've had a terrible run of facing double starts from very good pitchers, and it continues this week with lincecum. at least i don't have to go up against two sabathia starts.

losing the wangster might slow me down a bit...

Injuries have really slowed down my point production the last 3 weeks. That, and really crappy pitching.

What would you have done if you dropped a guy, I picked him up less than a week later and offered to trade him to you? I mean, come on. You deserve whatever you get for that brainstorm. :yahoo:

well, you acted like it was the most offensive thing you've ever seen in your life. as i told you, i didn't realize you had dropped him. secondly, you dropped him because you didn't have room on your DL, not because he was terrible. thirdly, when you dropped him you had scherzer in your pen, and when i offered you percival, scherzer had been sent to the minors. fourthly, it wasn't like i was asking for webb and holliday for him...i probably would have practically given him away. fifthly (should have done a power point), i WANT you to have a replacement RP because i'll be rooting for you to beat up on my division rivals from here on out.

in conclusion, you acted like it was the most preposterous thing you've ever seen in all your days as a fantasy baseball player, and it really ranks about #6,093 on the list of dumb [expletive] i've seen in this league alone. when i read your pm response, i had to go back and look at my original pm to make sure i had really only asked you if you wanted percival and not asked to [expletive] your mom.

holy [expletive], you guys are acting like i was trying to trade you rick ankiel for crying out loud. forgive me for thinking you'd prefer to have percival and his 0.60 whip, 2.70 era and 15 saves in your lineup as opposed to a DL'ed putz and his injured pitching elbow. my bad.

lol - I'm hardly up in arms, adam. Just thought it was funny you wanted me to trade away my third round pick for someone I could have had on waivers a few days earlier. If you really thought that Percival is such a good bet to maintain his 0.60 WHIP, etc., you wouldn't be trying to trade him away for warm spit. All I said in response to your trade offer was that I'd like to wait and see how he does coming off the DL before I make a move for him.

Wow. Overreact much? Here is my exact quote in my PM.

Funniest thing I've heard in quite some time.

That would be a tremendously oversized negatory.

I'd rather pick up Neal Cotts than drop a player, have someone else pick that very same player up and then have that team trade me that very same player I dropped less than a week ago.

That's all I said in my PM. How in the world did you come up with "most offensive thing I've ever seen in my life" out of that post.

Yeah, later on I posted it in the stupid fantasy trades thread, but I didn't name names. Spin it all you want, but you tried to trade me a guy I cut loose a week ago. That's very bush league.

In abuck's defense, Neal Cotts *is* pretty offensive.

[expletive] that, man. you needed a reliever and i offered you one. a good one. i didn't know that you were the one that dropped him. and you dropped him because you were out of DL spots, not because he was terrible. big [expletive] deal. get over it.

don't call me bush league for asking you if you were interested in a guy i had that i thought you could use. i didn't even make an offer...i just asked if you were interested, and i even said that it wouldn't take much to get him. calling me bush league is a bunch of [expletive] whether you [expletive] dropped him a week ago or not.

There's a whole list of transactions you can look through so you don't make that mistake.

Since we are offering up players in trade, Adam, do you have any interest in Trevor Hoffman?

well, i don't really give a [expletive] if i make that mistake since all the other person has to do is tell me they just released the guy. i don't think anyone besides you would make such a huge deal about it. now i know that i have to scan all prior transactions to make sure i'm not offering up someone who the other guy has previously owned.

if i'm ever down to just one reliever, sure. why wouldn't i be? just because i released him once doesn't mean i'd never, ever, ever want him back on my team. that's just stupid.

Please remember that all insults must be in the form of a movie quote. and even then, expect a lot of whining.
