Posted a little early, but it's 2 AM out here and I can't sleep, so I figured I might as well post this, even though there aren't any games until night. Ignore it until then if you must.

Does anyone know why the Cardinals brought Mitchell Boggs in for an inning of relief in tonight's game? I thought he was supposed to take Parisi's spot in the rotation.

A little side story about Hawpe

 

I was playing MLB 2K8, and the announcer Jon Miller said something like "Hawpe will have a SHOT to score some runs here",emphasizing shot, which immediately reminded me of his line drive "shot" at Prior. So obviously, on the next pitch, he hit a ball right at my pitcher's elbow and injured him.

 

Brewers, Cardinals, and Marlins all lost, so today wasn't a horrible time for the Cubs to fall as well.
