BTW, for those liking the SD announcers, you should. Matt Vasgursian (sp?) is one of the best and was supposed to take over before Len got the job. The padres wouldn't let him go

Despite how this game is going so far, watching the game on MLB.tv, I am kind of a fan of the Padres announcers.

 

Ehhh, not so much. One of the guys just said "if we get a hit here, we can get another point."

 

 

I thought he was making a joke about his earlier point where he talked about getting "first run innings". Let me clarify, the play-by-play guy is solid. Can't say much for the color commentary.

I buy MLB.tv just now for $89.95. The first play I see is Z picking off Gerut. I think I'm the lucky charm. I am so happy I bought this living in SC, I get to see only the nationally televised games.

Speaking of that, why is it East carolina and not EastERN Carolina like all the other state universities? Just think that's a little weird.

I'm not sure, but I do know that it pisses all of us off when people refer to us as EastERN Carolina. I've never heard an actual explanation though
