In theory, This is actually a really good lineup. In theory, communism works.

In theory, if a poster makes enough random posts, one of them will at least sound intellegent.

The home vs. road records are more than a little worrisome. Stinking on the road is one of the main things that killed the Brewers last year.

That along with poor starting pitching, an always collapsing bullpen, and not being able to score past the 5th inning.

I've been trying that for two years now, not sure if I have been successful

Are Ramirez and Dempster going to pitch at the same time?

Has Fuku ever played the hot corner before?

Who is going to play RF?

Should be an interesting game

Love seeing Pierre in the lead-off spot for the Dodgers.

Pierre actually has a .351 OBP this year. If he would have been that good as a Cub, I wouldn't have so much hatred for him.....

yes, I would he was a freaking Marlin.

This series might be Edmonds' last stand

Sadly, I think we'll keep saying that for a little while longer.

Im starting to think that Felix is a better choice than Edmonds for the same reason that Gallagher is a better choice than Marquis. If your going to have a guy whose going to suck anyway, you may as well give someone who could be a star of the future on the job training than just flat out waste the roster spot.

Interesting test of wills today. The Cubs shouldn't lose to a team with Mark Sweeney hitting 5th in their lineup. The Dodgers shouldn't lose to a team with Jim Edmonds anywhere in the lineup. Something's gotta give.

Wow. Jeff Kent is pretty crappy now.

So I suppose you're a big supporter of frostwyrm's "trade Lee" idea?

Lee doesn't suck though. So, no.

Latest radar image shows nothing of any concern near Chicago presently, and while there's a threat for a storm or two, this game will get in with no problem. Best chance of storms will be South of I-88, and most of those will wait until after 3:30 or 4:00 to get going. Play Ball!

CUBS saw this umpiring crew in Pittsburgh in April when we swept the Pirates. Mike Reilly was behind home plate in the 4/10 game.
