My guess is with everyone else that Blanco and Edmonds both get the start tomorrow, especially in the case of Edmonds because the Cubs will face 3 more lefties over the weekend.

If Blanco does start, it will be interesting to see if Fukudome moves up to the 2 spot tomorrow, or if they save that for a day when the 8 spot is not full already. If they don't move Fukudome, then the logical place in the lineup for Edmonds would be 7th IMO giving you this:

Soriano

Theriot

Lee

Ramirez

Fukduome

DeRosa

Edmonds

Blanco

Dempster

Of course if Soto starts, Fukudome will go to 2nd, Theriot to 8th, and Edmonds to 5th. With Blanco the same thing might happen except Theriot would bat 7th, not 8th.

Let's hope they catch lightning in a bottle.

What's that hole in the padding?

Was someone shooting at him?

Looks like a primo day to let Soto get some rest and give Blanco the start.

Give DeRo the start at 1st, move Riot to 2nd and start Cedeno at SS.

Might as well keep it realistic and just hope that Cedeno starts at 2B in that scenario.

I'd be ok with that too.

That would be where he placed his foot to boost his jump high enough to get the ball. Happens quite a bit when a player tries to steal a HR.

11 run homer from Edmonds leading off the 1st, Cubs win 4-1

Interesting. How do the Cubs get their 7 runs taken away?

One run gets taken away for every half-shirt and thing of eyeliner he brings to the ballpark.

So Cubs lose -8 to 1?

It's going to be very strange seeing Edmonds in Cub Blue. Is anyone going to be able to cheer him before he does something productive?*

*if he ever does anything productive

In all fairness, shouldn't his locker have a bigger mirror, a makeup table and a those big round stripper/Rockette lights? Since he is only getting league min. from the Cubs, he should have negotiated for those perks.
