Student came into my class this fine morning and declared the Cubs Suck!

 

1. I hate that term, as much as I hate smokers and people wearing hats inside.

2. we have 14 days left of school, so what should I do?

His point is that you're using the wrong font color....consistently...and it hurts to read.

 

Sarcastic Green is a very annoying fad...but if you feel like you must do it, at least use the dark green...not the seizure green.

Let's just say talking about someone's momma where I work is an immediate fight...and I doubt the students would exempt a teacher from that.

 

 

True story here. I ended up having to have a parent conference with the mothers of two students because they got into a fight. The fight started because one student told the other his momma looked like a man. So, I go to the conference room with the 6th grade dean and a few others to have the conference. The mother of the boy who started the fight because of the insult was about 6 ft tall, 300+lbs, and had a very noticeable moustache. I really hated that I had punished the other kid for telling the truth.
