I have no idea. Maybe Shane can help us out with what the heck Bevo stands for. All I know is each time I go to Live Scoring, I can never find Eyes of Texas because they have this weird Bevo name instead.

Picked up another guy that's off to a horrid start this year. If I could ever get Howard, Cano, and Hafner hitting at one time, I may win a game or two. Trade made sense though, as Matt had Iwamura at U, and can now put Nady there and get decent support at 2b with Hudson. I hope those 3 start to turn it on. On paper this team looks great, now it's time for them to produce.

Either way I am getting two start from Cliff Lee and two starts from Bedard this week :D . Though I expect Lee to have 1 bad start coming soon.

could be. though you and i both have a number of guys who have been hurt, unexpectedly terrible or both (ie my top three keepers from last year -- rollins, fielder, soriano).

 

by the way, i feel your pain on swisher and verlander. killing me in my other league.

It sure would be nice to see AJ and Garza get me off to a good start for the week. This is by FAR the best team I've ever had on paper. Good god it'd be nice to see them start playing like it. I couldn't think of a more perfect week for that to happen than against Adam.

Interesting question -- who would I sell right now if I were in that mode?

 

Hamilton, Hermida, Upton the younger, Verlander, Chamberlain, Gallardo & Hughes are all exempt. I'm def. keeping Pujols & Arod. As my other points guys, I'd love to keep Santana & Victor, but given the ever-shrinking points totals for keepers, I don't know how realistic that is. Assuming that works for now, that would leave me with Upton the elder, Lackey, Greinke, Putz, Swisher & Perez as my trading chips. I'd also have one of the three exempt OF's to trade as I (unfortunately) can't keep 11 guys. Of course, if my return was significantly better, I'd also be willing to keep both Uptons and trade Santana instead.

 

Yep, quite a bit of value to be had there. But I can't believe with that much talent that I'll keep sucking wind once guys get healthy. Adam and his pitching are a totally different story, though! :)

and while nothing's a given, i don't think anyone would have predicted hill and liriano (my project 2/3/4ish guys) to be in AAA on 5/12. hill especially has killed me.
