I'm fairly certain that Mark Grace would pay the Cubs to let him work for them, just so he could move back to Chicago.

I think that I would support Grace instead of Brenly. Or even a 3 man booth

FWIW, I don't think a Cub Fangraph should ever be that optimistic. Just because.

I know. Where's Bartman? 100 years, man! 100 years.

I'm an admitted idiot, what the hell is up with these fan graphs?

In some breaking news for you Bulls fans, Mike D'Antoni just signed with the Knicks.

I now want to punch John Paxson in the face.

A coach wasn't gonna change the fact that the team has no superstar and isn't smart enough to tear it down and lose enough for a chance to draft one. They are in perfect NBA purgatory.

Yep, they secured that spot in '03. Needed better luck in that lottery.

Please don't bring that up. Lebron,Melo,Wade, and Bosh :(

We were battling with Cleveland for the worst record in the league the first half of that season. Then we went on somewhat of a roll towards the end of the year to push us past LBJ, Carmelo, Wade, and Bosh land.

Don't forget that we could've moved up to where the Heat were at. All Paxson had to do was trade Donyell freaking Marshall to the Heat. Yet he couldn't budge on that offer. Just terrible.

Is that true?

Unfortunately, it sure is.

For the first time ever, I'm happy to see Howry in a game

Were some MLB team unfortunate enough to have me in charge, I'd have one pen spot reserved for some worthless AAA guy with little value and I'd abuse his arm like crazy in every blowout. Then when his arm went out, I'd find another one.

The weird thing is, I doubt you'd hear the players union complaining. It'd give a lot of guys a chance to make the majors that they wouldn't have had under normal circumstances. You don't think Les Walrond will kill to have a major league gig for two months? Ryan O'Malley? Jon Leicester?

No. Miami refused to trade the pick for anything and had settled on Wade before the draft. The Bulls offered a huge package of players, but Miami was committed to Wade. The Bulls weren't even all that happy with Donyell Marshall-they traded him only 16 games into the following season.

Think of it this way.

Each event in a game raises or lowers the probability that a given team will lose. Both teams start out the game at 50%. After each event (out, hit, walk, double play, etc.), the probability goes back and forth between the teams accordingly.

I still haven't decided who I want to win these Cards/Brew games. I guess I'm happy either way. I'll take a 2-2 split.

I like Brenly. I'm just amazed by the way in which Grace waxes poetic about Chicago every time he's here.

They wanted Marshall and a washed-up Pippen so the Bulls could move up a couple of spots to where the Heat were at. Paxson never returned the phone call.

They track the odds of either team winning based on the relative score, inning, outs and baserunners. When the line is dead center, it's 50/50 (usually a tie game at the end of an inning).

Makes sense now that I actually noticed the two teams on the side. Thanks
