I'm a true patriot. My rebate will be going towards the down payment on my new place...and will account for 0.7792% of the amount of money I have to shell out when I close at the end of this month.

haven't really thought about it. i just put money in the bank and then use it for whatever i need it for. i suppose since i'm dropping 2/3 of my savings on a house that i might not have that attitude much longer.

well, i don't really fall into any of the options. we'll get a sizable amount between me, my wife and our two kids. our plan is to spend about half of it on home upgrades/vacation and put the other half into the kid's savings accounts.
