It is not a coincidence that the Cubs are playing worse with Soriano. You can't sit him for any stretch. You just have to hope that he gets out of this. Maybe move him down to 7th.

I think Lou wants Howry to go multiple innings, and that's why Fontenot had to come in. Of course it's going to be hard to do that if the defense behind Howry makes him throw a ton of pitches in inning #1.
