What is his SB% now? Can't be real good.

Was the pitch to DLee that bad?

I believe its 6 SB 4 CS. Don't forget one of those SB was because of a dropped catch at 3B in Pittsburgh, so realistically it should be 5 and 5

It really makes one wonder how he was 55 of his last 64 before that. He hasn't even been close on many of them this year.

It seems like he's running more often now since he apparently has the green light all the time. They should take that away from him, yesterday.

Nice quick inning by Demp, though. Pretty good outing for him.

If that was a hit and run, why didn't DLee swing?

Because the pitch was nowhere close to being a strike?

If it's a hit and run and the pitch is relatively close, you gotta swing. At least attempt to foul it off.

This is why people don't like the full count hit and run. It forces your hitter to swing at borderline pitch's

Ramirez should probably be on third right now.

Kearns has a great arm. I bet the third base coach took that into consideration.

Doesn't have to be a full count ... just has to be 2 strikes.

agreed but his momentum was going the other way and he had his back to him to field the ball.

I know but it was deep, a pretty obvious hit and he was going away. I guess you don't want to make the first out at third though.

True but a regular hit and run is even worse because you have to swing at anything.

Down one run, 1st and 2nd, no outs, good hitter on deck. I don't hate this sac bunt.

If the Cubs are playing for one run, its actually the correct move.
