Beltran Jr. is hitting .381/.462/.500 with 8 walks and 4 strikeouts in 42ABs. If you project that to his 142 ABs of 2007, that's 28 walks (more than he had in his first 340 PAs in his career) and just 14Ks.

He's finally close enough to the real Beltran to really see how good he is and is now realizing his potential?

I was wondering when someone else would notice. I figured we were collectively burying our heads in the sand out of disbelief.

 

I know its highly unlikely that he will keep this up, but I wouldn't mind having that production, especially now that Alfonso is out for at least two weeks.
