So I'm in the thriving metropolis of Henderson, KY and much to my delight, they get FSN Ohio here so I'm watching the game and listening to Thom (gayest way to spell a name ever) Brennamen and Jeff Brantley (I think) pontificate on baseball. Not as good as Pat and Ron or Bob and Len, but better than I get in St. Louis.

Brennamen and Brantley are horrible. Brant is such a whiner.

I don't think Thom is all that bad

I liked him in the middle innings with Steve Stone all those years ago.

I'd put money on the Reds scoring at least 1 this inning.

Cubs big inning always equals opponent scoring at least 1.

In fact, I'll pay Soul 50 bucks if they don't.

Well I'll be damned.

I take cash or check.

I always got pissed when he came in because I was a little kid and I wanted to hear more Harry.

I'll date the check January 3, 3211.

Why are the Reds on their 3rd pitcher already? Whatever happened to Lincoln? Do they even have a long man?

Dusty's pen is going to be shot if they dont.

you speak almost as if thats our problem

Must be Afeldt otherwise Dusty just thinks he's a good hitter!

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh memories of Cubs teams past. Nothing like inexplicable bullpen use!

Looks like the Cubs and Pirates have unearthed the Reds we all expected this year.

Now, if the Cardinals will just start losing, this season could shape up like it should.

Hell let's have both the Cards and Brewers struggle. I wouldn't mind rolling to a division title for once.

I don't really mind the Cardinals beating the Brewers. Obviously one of those teams has to lose. I'm more worried about Milwaukee this season than the Cards.

But yes, after the Milwaukee series, they should start losing. Then I'll be pretty happy with the way things are going.

64 pitches through 5 for Big Z.

:good:

Hopefully Piniella doesn't try to push Z beyond 7.

i can get behind this, unless Z has nice quick innings

Unfortunately, I think they get the Giants this weekend. I'm pretty sure I have tickets to the game on Friday night.
