Stupid Boston/NY fans are an embarrassment to the human race. Seriously? You buried a Red Sox t-shirt in Yankee stadium? You're such a bad ass, guy. They should throw you a ticker tape parade

I am not sure who is taking things way too seriously. The people who buried the shirt, or the people who respond angrily to the people who buried the shirt.

I'm justified in hating the Red Sox/Yankees rivalry based solely on the fact that stupidity revolving around it gets headlines and publicity it doesn't deserve. Isn't there some heartwarming comeback story in sports somewhere that deserves some attention instead of talking about some stupid construction worker burying a shirt in Yankee stadium?

Ranting helps me vent the anger that I could easily take out on others that I choose not to out of respect for my fellow board posters

I guess I can see that. The media upsets me too sometimes.

I'd vote the latter.

The Yankees plan to donate the jersey to charity, and may pursue a lawsuit against the construction worker.

Wow.

Apparently, the Yankees were able to dig up the jersey.

Boy, I hate Hal Steinbrenner. I was generally ok with George, from a public perspective, but his sons really seem like classy individuals.

"I hope his co-workers kick the [expletive] out of him," Yankees co-chairperson Hal Steinbrenner said.

You can tell he is a prick just by looking at him.

I can't stand Hank Steinbrenner. Hal, I don't have a problem with, it's "Mr. Aggressive" Hank Steinbrenner I can't stand.

Wow.

That lawsuit would be thrown out of court, faster then an Cub at bat.

I don't get it.

Did they ever say who was buried in the shirt or did that just not deserve the media attention?

At least waited until the stadium was finished and the yankees had already begun playing in it. After a Jeter or Arod injury and it would have been great.

Why in the heck would they waste their time and money to dig it up? Completely stupid.

It's really astonishing. And the idea they might pursue legal action against the guy who did it is equally insane. What would the charges be?
