am i the only one who thinks these goalie interference calls are legitimate? the guys are driving to the net with the puck, true, but if you skate into the goalie and knock him over without being forced into him, it's a penalty. these nbc guys are whining about it like crazy.

I agree. Those announcers were wondering what else the Red Wing guy was supposed to do when he's driving to the net. Well, for starters, don't run into the goalie without being pushed into him. The Red Wing guy could have avoided Fleury, but he didn't. That's a penalty.

ok thanks. that annoyed me too - "what is cleary supposed to do?!?!?" well you can go left or go right, just not straight into the goalie. one analyst started bitching about it and all of a sudden it's a pile on, they're all whining about it. it's pretty much textbook interference.

Fell asleep during the 2nd OT intermission and watched the 3rd OT this morning. That was intense. Detroit dominated. The end of the 3rd period was great I was really hoping Pittsburgh would extend the series and I'm looking forward to game 6. Being in that city during the Cubs series was a lot of fun to see all the excitement surrounding the Pens.
