...even though he's just stating the obvious and basing it on 4 games worth of stats. He's at least got the right idea and I'm glad to see Theriot's shortcomings pointed out to some extent, at least.

Kosuke Fukudome, batting .500 with a .625 on-base percentage, may be the best bet to hit in the No. 2 hole. No. 2 hitter Ryan Theriot was retired on a total of three pitches in his first two at-bats Friday and has a .222 OBP.

Heck, I wouldn't have a problem with moving Theriot into the 8 spot and moving everyone else up one spot so that we go...

That would be great. But I think Lee could go 0 for the season and still hit 3rd, so the best bet is to hit Fuku 2nd, which is where I think he'll end up by the end of April.

Plus, with Soto hitting the ball hard every AB, it's only a matter of time before he breaks into the top five lineup spots (top six if Riot somehow stays in there).

Either way, it's encouraging that a moran like sullivan can realize that short, hustling, scrappy, whitey isn't getting the job done. Hopefully Lou won't be much more than a month behind.

Just get Pie out of the 8 spot, please.

Well you got your wish today TT. This better not be a sign of things to come regarding Pie. Just let him play and leave him the hell alone.
