Nothing like scoring the 4th highest for the week in a losing effort.
That's nothing. I once had the second highest score of the week and still lost.

I believe I still have the single highest scoring week in a loss - 360

This is going to be a rough loss for one of us. Nothing like scoring the 4th highest for the week in a losing effort.

I think Reynolds has been clutch and won it for the Quakers, but with the scoreboard acting up I do not think we will be certain who won until tomorrow morning.

This fantasy business gets to you. I was almost hoping that Tejada hit one out against Wood in the ninth. Imagine a fantasy game taking such importance that it overshadows such real life concerns like who wins a Cubs game. ;)

Juan,

After careful consideration, I've come to the conclusion that we're being too restrictive on keepers. We should go back to the 1500 point limit after this offseason. :D

Agree. Consider it done.

Heck, let's make it around 1300-1400. I'll match up:

Pujols

ARod

J Upton

Hamilton

Hermida

Verlander

Gallardo

Hughes

Chamberlain

Parra

against what everyone else can keep at that point level! 8-)

Zambrano

Beckett

Buchholz

Blackburn

Jerrjens

Slowey

Votto

Kendrick

Reynolds

Maybin

Here's mine:

Weiters

Lee

Utley

Fuku

Billy Butler (hopefully he will gain some eligibility somewhere other than DH this season)

Bedard

DiceK

Kuroda

Owings ( who know might get moved to the infield ;-) )

Price

You wouldn't get Lee, Utley & Bedard under 1400 points.

I'm hoping Butler becomes 1st base eligible this year. Either way I'm still not trading you Utley ;-).

Whats the time cut off every day for games to make pitcher subs. I got Cliff Lee in at 11:00 central time, not that it would have made too much of a difference. Would have at least cracked 300 points though :-).

Looks like I will be the high scorer for the week. Watch out Adam, I think I am gonna be back in the playoff hunt this year after taking a year off.

Since I doubt it'll happen again, I had better say kudos to Millwood (2 starts) & Lohse for dropping 85.5 points to the tune of 28.5 per start.

Oh well, still lost. I thought I might have a shot considering Z/Beckett gave up roughly 11 more total bases today but we both lost the same amount of points unless it had not reset the scores from earlier in the week. Obviously I need to learn the scoring. Can anyone wlse not get in live scoring to see the final breakdown?

One thing to note is that total bases are no longer subtracted overnight. Using the categories of 1ba allowed, 2ba allowed, etc. allows live scoring of total bases allowed. Thus, the overnight adjustments should be much smaller.

I have not noticed any problems with the live scoring that others have noted.

When do subs or pitchers have to be made on a daily basis. I plugged in Cliff Lee at 11:00 am central time, several hours before his game started and didn't get the points for him.

it's not based on when a particular player's game starts, but when the first game in all of MLB starts. i think you have to do it 30 minutes before the first game of that day.

ok, that helps. Thanks.

Shane, if you see this in time, you may want to get another pitcher in place of bedard for tomorrow since he's been pushed back to Tuesday. I'd hate to see something like that decide the great game we've got going on.

Thanks tim. It has been a great matchup, everyday has been tight. Hopefully cliff lee can find 2006 again today.

Man, looks like I would have won if Lee's points would have counted yesterday. That sucks. I don't think I even want to know how many minutes I was late by getting him in, had to have been very close.

Can anyone explain to me how Edwin Encarnacion can draw 8 walks in the first week of the season with Dusty Baker as his manager?

Or how about that Johnny Cueto can be pulled with only 92 pitches thrown?
