My guess is he's hanging with Sosa and getting some fake hustle lessons before reporting.

It seems like a lot of the position players arrived early, so they probably already checked in, had their physicals and are ready to play. Ramirez most likely just got here and is doing that.

 

I could be wrong but the following starters are reported to have been in camp at least yesterday

 

C: Soto

1B: Lee

2B: DeRosa

SS: Theriot

LF: Soriano

CF: Pie

RF: Fukudome

he was included in the 3 team deal that sent Kyle Kendrick to Japan.

When Ronny Cedeno arrived at Cubs camp Monday morning, only one player was unaccounted for.

 

Aramis Ramirez doesn't have to be at the facility today but he does have to make a phone call to the Cubs to let him know he's checked into town. The first full workout is Tuesday. Ramirez is expected to be here and in uniform by then, according to the team.

UMFan isn't watching anything on the iPhone, nor is he in Mesa (as far as I know). We know from all the reports and photos over the weekend that those players listed are already in camp.

 

I'm pretty sure he just mentioned the iPhone because he was implying that WilcoFan is at Fitch Park and posting from an iPhone.

My apologies for the misleading title. I had written significantly more on my Iphone, but for some reason it wouldn't go through. For some reason, it was logging me into the site, then immediately logging me out. And, to be honest, I didn't really want to try and write that much again on the IPhone keypad, so I gave up.

 

There were a lot of things I got to see today, though. I'll write about them this afternoon. For now, though, I'm going to get out in the 70 degree weather.

Come on, when someone says something THAT ridiculous, in the media no less, you have to just laugh. I hope it catches on big time. I'm sure that during game threads it might rival the "fake rally" references.

Yeah, I know how that goes. When monumentally horrid stuff like that happens, you wouldn't be surprised to see a leprechaun pointing and laughing at you. I recall lying on my bed after game 7 just staring at the ceiling. I MIGHT have done other things that week, but if I did I don't remember any of it.
