it isnt easy

make tebows legs beat you. take away the screens if you can and double up on harvin whereever he lines up.

Yeah, it's definitely not easy. The key would seem to be tackling well (yes, I know that sounds obvious). Against some teams you can afford to miss a few tackles, but containing Harvin's speed is crucial.

I agree with what you said about the general strategy too - that seems to be the best bet.

Hopefully Chavis will come up with something next year because I don't look forward to another 50-points put up on us.

My top 5 next year.

Oklahoma, USC, Ohio St, Florida, Texas.

Georgia will be a preseason top 5...guarantee it.

Georgia/Texas was my debate for the final spot.

With Texas losing Jammal Charles I would now drop them out of the top 5. He shouldn't be going either.

Yeah, brainfart on my part.

I like Auburn with the moneyline, Oregon +6, the under on 68.5 for GA/HI coupled with GA -7.5 the under on 58 for WI/TN, over on 59 for TX Tech/VA, over on 49.5 for USC/UI, and Va Tech (-3.5)

I remembered this post from a couple days ago and you've nailed every one of those so far with the exception of the over on 59 for Texas Tech-Virginia which you pushed.

Betting advice, please.

I've been looking all over for this post, cause I knew I was doing well. Thanks for the bump. And the ego boost.

I refuse to support bowl games that are not BCS being played after New Year's Day. You had your chance two weeks ago ;-).

Rutgers is pretty well controlling the line of scrimmage, but Ball State's still not doing that bad. If Ball State's defense can step it up a bit and then give Davis some protection on offense, they still have a shot.

Ray Rice is just having his way on the Ball State defense. Averaging more than 8 yards a carry and is getting close to 300 yards on the game.

Yeah, they've worn them out pretty good. Ball State's offense has looked really good in the 2nd half. I've been really impressed with Davis, especially since Rutgers is getting pressure on him almost every play. I think he'll make a pretty decent NFL quarterback.

The game was just what I expected from Ball State; a lot of offense but no defense. I'm looking forward to next year with the entire offense ack; hopefully the defense will improve.

So come to find out Ray Rice is good. Who'da thunk?

On another note, I have driven 22 of the last 84 hours. Not good times.

I just got done working the GMAC Bowl for ESPN tonight as a PA/Utility worker. Tulsa stomped Bowling Green, and had one of the biggest hits I've seen in football all year long.

Oh, and I was talking to some of the regulars on the crew and asked if they worked for ESPN baseball, anbd one of them said yes, so I asked if they worked with Joe Morgan and one guy said he had, so I asked "if he was as dumb in person as he was on TV, because I'm not a fan". He laughed and said "Yeah, you're not the only one". Thought that was funny and I'd pass it on.
