Demp had a 9.82 ERA in September. Take out the horrendous outings he had that month, and his ERA is about 3.50

If you take away every inning in which he was scored upon, his ERA was 0.00.

Francisco Cordero-R-Brewers Nov. 13 - 6:26 pm et

The Brewers made their initial offer to free agent Francisco Cordero on Monday.

It was previously reported that the Brewers and Cordero's agent had agreed not to negotiate until Cordero could talk money with other teams. However, the Brewers made their offer before their exclusive window closed at midnight. Cordero is likely to get a four-year deal worth in excess of $10 million per year.

Yikes. 4 years and $40 million for a reliever? Stay far away Hendry.

I bet he gets more.

I give up fighting about the bullpen. It is what it is. I hope they don't lose Wood. He can negotiate with anyone as of today. Also hope Marmol is as good next year. Anything is better than (painfully) watching Dumpster coming into the game.

Yes, those THREE blown saves he had last year were horrible. Especially in comparison to his TWENTY EIGHT converted saves.

Dempster isn't that bad.

Yes, but how many games did he have where he came in in a non-save situation and then proceeded to either give up the lead or let the other team right back into the game? I know it was certainly more than three.

Once with a non-save lead. Four times coming in with a tie score, left the game trailing(1 in a 2 inning outing, another in the meaningless game 162.

That would match Doug Dascenzo's career ERA. :D
