2007 Venezuela Parallel League

The Venezuela Parallel League is basically the minor leagues for the Venezuelan Winter League. You'll generally see guys from rookie ball to high-A in the Parallel League. I've found 4 Cubs prospects so far and so I decided to create a new thread for them.

I've always loved Chirinos defensively at any of the IF positions, he has decent pop for a MI and a good enough, his bat speed and holes in his swing just never were fixed.

I got nothing on him and didn't even know he was a Cub but the web site insists he is (and actually, they connect few guys to a big league team unless they play on a team of all Mets, etc.). The web site could be wrong or he could be a new IFA signing.

 

His player page on the Parallel League website says he's 6' tall, 170 lbs and a rigthy but no DOB info.
