Ronny is tearing it up. I really hope Lou lets him settle into SS, but I know that won't happen. I also hope he has matured a lot since 2006. I think I can remember Bruce saying something about Ronny loving the night life.

I've only found one Cub in the Venezuelan Parallel League (it's the minor leagues for the VWL where you generally find guys from Rookie ball to A ball).

IF Marwin Gonzalez is playing with Caracas and is posting a .333/.333/.600 line in 15 AB (1 double, 1 HR, 2 strikeouts, 0 walks).

Didn't Cedeno walk alot last year in this league? It seems like they hand out the free passes to MLB players.

That being said, if they stay in house Cedeno *should* get an equal chance but probably won't because piniella really likes Theriot and the fans would be merciless if Cedeno got the job and struggled out of the gate. I'm not saying those are good reasons but there it is.
