i have to say how great it is that Lilly and Hill choose these games to completely crap the bed and have the worst games of the season

Hill has pitched far worse than this before...Lilly was worse than 2 R in 2 IP.

this is true. Lilly was really horrible though

After 3 balls, Ramirez just expecting a walk, so he parked his bat on his shoulder.

I mentioned it the other night - I'm convinced we have a good number of hitters who decide before the ball is thrown whether they're gonna swing at it or not.

I have been convinced of that for 3 years.

I agree - how the rest of of the major leagues and the majority of fans can see that and the organization can't (or worse yet, promotes it) is beyond me

I don't know how you spend as much money as we have and still have someone like Cliff Floyd hitting cleanup in an elimination game. But hopefully this trainwreck of a front office is soon to be gone.

Nice to see 1) Ramirez watch three straight strikes. Idiot. And 2) one pitch Rich showing what a mental midget he truly is.

There's gotta be some Cub fan out there willing to sacrifice a clean police record for his love of his team by kneecapping Stephen Drew.

No, but Id gladly sneeking into a drug testing facility and replace Chris Youngs urin with that of Ricky Williams.

i have a G-D meeting to go to in a few minutes....brilliant timing. one tomorrow during game time too, but, of course, that might not conflict with anything at this point

I think they filmed that Piniella commercial at the Joliet Jackhammers stadium. Must've dropped the stands in on a computer.

Sad that a change of ownership is the main thing to look forward to during the playoffs eh? :)

Heck, I wouldn't worry about it - you'll probably be saving yourself alot of pain and frustration by going to a meeting instead of watching this mess :P
