How some of you are blaming LOU for putting our BEST LIGHTS OUT reliever in the game is beyond me.

It's absolutely ridiculous. It's not like he went to Eyre. He went to our BEST guy out of the pen. Our RIVERA.

Christ. The stupidity is overwhelming. Can we blame our PLAYERS for once? It's not like Lou put us in a bad situation. he put our best in.

It's game 1. And we haven't even lost yet.

Z wouldn't have done that.

Way to pitch for game 4, Lou.

So you can see the future too? Well that's swell.

Youre being unreasonable. Z was pitching great. If he gave up the home run, fine that sucks. But he had 85 damn pitches. It was a terrible decision to take him out regardless of what Marmol did.

I'm being unreasonable? Not exactly.

If Marmol comes in and goes 1-2-3, nobody says anything.

If Lou leaves Z in and he gives up runs, people would be complaining that Z should have been removed just like they're complaining that he was removed.

I was complaining about the move beforehand, so, no, I would say something even if Marmol goes 1-2-3. You're taxing your pen early and there are only 2 (maybe 3 w/ Wood) strong guys when Z can easily go about 15 more pitches and probably not suffer too much in the 4 days.

Marquis can start if you really can't handle Z on 3 days rest.

that comment about "can you gurantee z wouldnt have given up a homer" was the dumbest comment ive ever read in my entire life. literally the dumbest.

Why? Please explain it too me Oh Great Decider of What Comments Are Dumb Or Not.

Oh, please. You should talk.

Huh. What are you talking about?

Finally.

This one's on Lou. God dammit.

You said the Cubs win if the D-Bags don't score in the 6th. I'm sticking with that.

Why does Jones just keep giving free bases while attempting to throw out runners he has NO CHANCE at?!?!?

GEEZUS!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nobody advanced.

Ojeda didn't move up to 3rd?? Swore he did, and if he didn't, he's an IDIOT!

Just incredible. No one could hit Marmol ALL FREAKING YEAR and, in the first game of the playoffs, he gets hammered by the bottom of the Diamondbacks lineup (including Augie Ojeda). I just can't believe it.

Tomorrow is a must win.

There is NO reason, NONE, barring injury to Z that he couldn't have started that inning with Marmol ready in the pen if needed.

Z's arm had better have been falling off.

WHY WASTE A PERFECT CHANCE TO TRASH SOMEONE THOUGH.

Not complaining about the reliever he chose, complaining about the choice of going to the pen so early.

EDIT: Z could arguably have still been our best in.
