My starting lineup:

CF Pie

2B Fontenot

LF Murton

3B Dero (no other IF subs)

1B Monroe (Why not?)

SS Cedeno

C Blanco

RF Fuld

P Trachsel

Like I said in the Trachsel thread, I want him to throw all 9 Saturday and Sunday. He's so super awesome, he deserves it.

Give Gallagher the start!

Gallagher Saturday...how about Sunday? Marshall, if he's healthy.

Too soon for Marquis. No sense wasting Lilly.

Figure we'll see Piggy get a couple innings.

I think Hill needs a few innings at least since he won't go game 1 or 2, but no more than, say, 75 pitches.

Get Marshall the start on Sunday, have Gallagher follow Hill tomorrow and Hart on Sunday.

Again, if anybody cares, bullpen match-ups.

Give the regulars 2 at-bats to keep them sharp. By the 6th inning I want to see Cedeno, Fuld, Blanco, Fontenot, Monroe and Pie in the game.

we really need to push Lilly to Game 1

why? Z has been money on the road

Aren't games 1 and 2 both on the road?

Yup, I want Z in game 1 just in case hes too pumped up. Lilly has been fantastic all year following a loss

Isn't the fact that Z will be too pumped up an argument for starting him in game 2, which would be on normal rest if it's on Wednesday as it most likely be?

If we don't have to, then why on earth would we start Z on short rest?
