Yahoo says Brad Thompson is starting, and I thought I heard on the radio here this morning that it's going to be one of TLR's dreaded "bullpen starts."

 

Which, I guess might be better than the other dreck he could throw out there to start. Expect to see Kip Wells for at least a few innings though.

Don't kid yourself, the odds of the Cardinals winning are slim. Let's hope the Cubs can take care of business and if the Cardinals actually beat the Brewers, that can be the icing.

The Cubs just got beat by a vastly inferior Marlins team despite the fact it looked to be a huge pitching matchup. Anything can (and often will) happen. If we win our game and the Brewers win there's, the race is all but over.

With the 3 1/2 game lead going into Monday and the respective matchups for the week there should be absolutely no reason why the Cubs don't make the postseason. None.
