Hey guys, not sure if these belong here or if they should go in the Game Threads so please forgive me if I'm wrong. But I wanted to just share some images I took at the game. We were in section 215. The day could not have been better. I just wish all Cubs fans the world over could have been there to soak it all in. The place was so incredible. I can't even imagine what it would be like if we can wrap up this thing this week.

Ramirez warming up before the game

Freezing the pitch. Looks like a strike to me.

Zambrano walking off after striking out three in the first inning.

Lou getting the ball tossed to him by the ump after he argued with him. Very funny. Lou still has those quick hands.

Lou laughing as he walked off after that.

Lou gives Z his props as he walked off in the 7th.

The exact moment the 4 run inning by the Braves was posted and the place went crazy with the tomahawk chop.

Kerry walking off to a great ovation after the 7th inning.

Cedano celebrating his two run homer.

Various crowd shots after the win with all the W flags everywhere. There were dozens and dozens of them everywhere.

A clickable image that gives you a great image of what Wrigley felt like. What a perfect day.

Hope you all enjoy these. Like I said, I apologize if these should be in a game thread instead of here. Just thought I would try to share the Cub joy with everyone.

It's threads like this which renew my hatred for this base's policy of blocking photobucket :x

Thanks anyway though, I'm sure they look nice.

I just uploaded the last pic for my desktop.

You may want to try that picture again. Photobucket resized it smaller for some reason but I put the bigger image back out there. :D

Thanks for all the compliments! I'm still riding high after yesterday's game.

That one is much better. You have a lot talent for taking pictures or a really good camera, or perhaps both. Thanks

This one is really awesome. Especially since it's got _______ ____ in it.

What kind of camera did you use for those shots?

I use the Canon S3 IS. Has an optical 12X zoom which makes all the difference in the world. I love it.

Here are all the shots I took from yesterday for those interested and also a link for those lucky enough to be banned from Photobucket at work. :(

Those are really nice shots. The rapid fire on my camera (I forget what kind it is) doesn't shoot as quickly as yours seemed to. I would only get 2 or 3 pictures in Z's windup. Thanks for the alternate!

Are you using any different lenses or camera settings for those pictures? I'd like to pick up a camera for games and that has a nice zoom on it like that.

No special lens at all. Just the camera as it comes out of the box.

Yeah, I have a Continuous setting and then a Hi-Continuous setting so I tried the latter and it seemed to be clicking off pretty quickly. Hardest part was getting is all lined up in Paint Shop Pro. lol

I can't recommend this camera enough. I think there is another version out, maybe S4 or S5 that has more pixels (mine has 5 megapixels). But for the money, this camera really rocks. It takes great video too and I got a little bit of the celebration afterwards but you can hear me singing Go Cubs Go in the background. I really don't think anyone should have to suffer through that so it will remain locked in my computer.

Geovany Soto?

The ump is surreptitiously feeling up Soto's lat, and who can blame him.

Great pics siuc! Thanks for taking the time to share. That Wrigley wide angle shot is now my laptop's desktop.
