Angel Guzman out for 2008 having TJ surgery per Bruce Levine. Jeesh

poor Angel

I guess my question is why in the hell was this not done back when he went on the DL? Did they not check for that or what? They wasted about 5 months of rehab time

I think it was a recent development (he had forearm injuries a few times - I've seen a few players diagnosed with forearm injuries who ended up going the TJS route). The forearm injuries popped up after his second rehab stint ended.

If anyone's watching or listening to the Brewers game, I'm dying to know if there's anything wrong with Sheets. Out after only 50 pitches...maybe his blisters are back!

he sucked

Again?

I'm pretty sure he hasn't had TJ.

Correct.

Did he have shoulder surgery?

Yeah.

He did give up 5 runs on 6 hits through only 3 innings. The Brewers probably figure that with Sept. callups they have a deeper pen so they're doing damage controls since Sheets doesn't appear to have it tonight.

 I was not believed when I told some people elsewhere that he'd be out of the bigs leagues all together before long.

I understand what you are saying, but Im thinking there is noway this just appeared, in the little amount of rehab stint he had been doing. There had to be something in there before.

Oh yeah, his UCL was probably very messed up when he first went on the DL but I don't think it was obvious what the problem was til the setbacks during rehab.
