I didn't think it was close at all. He didn't go.

The video shows that you are wrong. He went just past the behind-the-line camera angle, so he swung just behind the line. It was close, it was a bad call, but it's a close call and the umpire can't have a good angle on it.

soriano is the argument against the claim that clutch hitting doesn't exist

soriano close and late

.320 .363 .507

the second biggest problem with anti-clutch arguments (which is yours, here) is that they ignore that clutch is relative and different for every player

It's arbitrary start point boys and girls.

Scott's been great lately, still too many baserunners though.

I don't like going to the pen this early with four games in the next three days. Bad decision by Lou, in my opinion.

Did you watch the first 5 innings?

Posted
Classic Cubs, blowing 1st and 3rd with only 1 out.

Scoring a ton in the first, then having crappy ABs the rest of the game (sans DWard).

sans JJones and Craig Monroe.

Both were first pitch swings, but fair enough.

Go see a doctor because you are ill.

Did you see Steve Trachsel's performance?

We also have about 10 guys down in the pen.

Trax was done. It's the right decision.

No swing. Not football, but If it were reviewable it wasn't close at all really.
