because the pre-gold releases are still being fixed for bugs, etc. and don't have all the features "turned on" yet

Individual thread pages don't take ~30 seconds to load for me on the new version, so I'm convinced. Looks great, too.

Yeah, I'll leave subsilver2 as the default skin to ease the transition, but prosilver will be available under the user control panel options.

Although PHPBB3 hasn't yet gone gold, I will be converting us over tonight. So the board will be down from approximately 8pm until whenever I finish.
