You'd think Pie flailing like a windmill would result with the bat hitting the ball once in awhile.

Pie does not look like a major league batter right now. I'm curious. What does everyone think his numbers will look like next year? I'd be happy with .270/.355/.420, 12 homers, 70 RBI and 25 steals. It all depends on where they bat him.

Another overrated prospect.

Kerry better start throwing strikes.

haha give me a break

This team is a joke.

+1

Not getting more than three runs off of a 35 year old minor leaguer is the problem. This really is not a good baseball team. Full strength or not.

Wood sucks. I think CHerry might be better than this guy these days.

He's been fine till today.

HIs numbers so far have been but you can tell his pitches are not the same.

As long as he can pitch with his lesser stuff (which is still relatively good), I don't care.

And I hate walking the bases loaded to set up the DP when you don't have a groundball-type pitcher. I'd rather have had Wood vs Matsui with 2 on.

I think we might need to accept the fact that Wood may not be a major league pitcher any longer.

He's not Wade Miller worthless yet, but don't expect a 3 era from the pen from him either.

What has Pie done that shows a guy that will live up to the hype? Seriously, please explain.

And now Latroy shuts us down just to make everyone feel even better.

When he isn't a closer, the guy is effective. Dunsty could never figure it out.

OK, I know they're prospects and it usually takes time for them to adapt, but just once...ONCE...can't we have one that comes roaring out of the gate? Or at least looks passable consistently?

What has he done to prove he is overrated?

True. He's not Wade Miller washed up yet, but he didn't look good today and didn't look good in Houston.

He had no control and when he did, he was hittable. That's not a good combination.

Exactly.....Look at Milwaukee, Arizona, Colorado, even St. Louis. And Mike Fontenot batting .400 for a month does not count.
