The only thing we can hope for at this point is that Arams wrist is ok and he comes back after this little rest and starts to mash the ball. AND THAT DLEE STARTS TO HAVE SOME PRODUCTIVE ABS. And that the Brewers continue to struggle.

The perpetual question....has Kendall thrown out a runner as a Cub yet?

As someone said the other night. He has been involved in one caught stealing. Of course he was running.

Lee needs a day off or two.

You'd think Pie flailing like a windmill would result with the bat hitting the ball once in awhile.

Pie does not look like a major league batter right now. I'm curious. What does everyone think his numbers will look like next year? I'd be happy with .270/.355/.420, 12 homers, 70 RBI and 25 steals. It all depends on where they bat him.

Another overrated prospect.

Kerry better start throwing strikes.

haha give me a break

What has Pie done that shows a guy that will live up to the hype? Seriously, please explain.

Pie has plus speed and plays excellent defense. There's always a market for those skills alone. He also had over 50 extra base hits in the minors last year. There's pop in his bat and he'll only fill out as he gets older.

I hope you guys are right. I have heard this a lot over the past few years and nobody ever is a Reyes, Braun, Wright, etc.

He could not be a worse throwing catcher. He could try, but he would not succeed.

Yep. Let Ward play 1st on Tuesday when Aramis is back to give Lee two days off in a row.

It's oddly soothing that it doesn't matter whether the top, middle or bottom of our lineup is up, the result is always the same.

Oh, and way to take some walks. Jerks.

When I said that the bullpen was going to shut us out the rest of the way I didn't actually think it would happen.

Kendall is not capable of throwing out baserunners.

And the Cubs pitching staff is not capable of holding runners at 1b. Not making excuses for Kendall, but it is very difficult to throw out runners when the pitcher does not use a slide step.

The coaching changes but the approach is the same every year.
