can we all be sure that hank aaron wasn't staurating himself with gamma rays before every ballgame? the answer is no. come on, his wrists were as big as rob reiner's prostate for crying out loud, don't tell me that's all natural.

Tell me you're joking.

what, about rob reiner's prostate?

Are you accusing Aaron of cheating?

what, is this the grand jury or something?

you're the one who brought it up.

but am i under oath?

i have a very reliable source that claims they supplied aaron with a banned form of karo syrup. this source also admits that mickey mantle was on the same regimen and that that is what really destroyed his liver, not booze.

Finally, maybe ESPN can pay attention to the rest of baseball now.

I know! I haven't been able to keep up with what the Yankees and Red Sox are doing with all this Barry Bonds talk.

I am gonna miss all those games on ESPN2 where I got to watch Cain and Lincecum pitch. They're really exciting young players.

I'll always hold Bonds suspect for his steroid use, however on this day I think it's a good idea to point out a couple (albeit obvious) things:

1) Barry's talent as a baseball player is not suspect. Greatest baseball player of my generation, IMHO.

2) Barry broke the record last night, regardless of how I feel about it. I accept that.

3) Despite the title of this thread, I wasn't booing when he did it. I was actually entertained by it, and I'm glad it's now over.

4) I thought Barry was quite gracious in the aftermath. I haven't seen Barry that "gregarious" too many times. Of course why wouldn't he be? It's a huge weight off his shoulders too.

5) I noted the commish's absence, and enjoyed Hank's little video. Hank's stance has never been an issue for Barry from what I understand. I think that controversy was largely made up and should be put to rest.

6) Barry's daughter is hot. (I think the older one was his older daughter, right? If not, then his wife is hot) :)

You read that correctly--the man who not only builds Bonds' brace, but who has taken precision measurements of his arm since 1992, has not seen any increase in the size of Bonds' arm. Point blank, Silva said "there's been no significant change in the size of his arms."

Are you accusing Will Carroll of libel?

Carroll is just reporting on what was told him. The man who builds Bonds' arm pad is lying.
