Lee was injured during Tuesday night's 4-2 loss to the Giants after fouling a ball off his left ankle. He expects to be out for 2-3 games, which in part lead to his decision to drop his case. A hearing on the appeal had not been scheduled.

 

From the article posted above...Makes some sense then. Get him 100%.

Bad timing IMO. If he was going to do this he should have done it before the all-star break when they were playing the Nats and Pirates. He was also struggling then. Now that he's finding his power again he decides to drop it. :?

 

He was probably going to miss 2+ games because of an injury sustained in last nights game.

Good move. If Lee were going to be out 2-3 games, this only has him missing two more than he would've sat anyway.

Good move. If Lee were going to be out 2-3 games, this only has him missing two more than he would've sat anyway.

Maybe we learned our lesson from Barrett missing 14 games or whatever it was last year.
