For us poor souls that don't get the game, what the heck just happened?

 

With DeRosa on second, Soto hit a liner to third. Lamb made a great play stopping the ball, but threw wide to first allowing Soto to reach. DeRosa took third and Berkman trying to get him out threw the ball into the dugout allowing DeRosa to score and Soto to go all the way to third.

I love it when Jacque goes the other way.

 

That's what the Cubs want him to do. And as somebody else pointed out, he is a nice guy. If he can help, it'll be one of those great ironies.

Which catcher do you see leaving when Dempster is activated?

 

It all depends on how Soto does. I don't expect to see Dempster activated until the Arizona series.
