One thing that bugs me is that they like to try to get as many countries represented as possible, so the World team isn't as good as it could be. For example, the Cuban pitcher for the Pirates has been bad this season, but hey, they now have Cuba covered!

He's no Phil Hughes, he's got a ceiling of a #2 pitcher though. They splurged in the draft last year to improve their system, and that's where they got Joba. He's got a big injury history, though.

And they got some of the biggest names in the international free agent market this month and took some above-slot big names in the draft last month
