who toes the rubber for pit?

Shane Youman. He'll be making his first appearance this season. Here are his numbers in AAA:

4-6, 4.70 ERA, 1.58 WHIP

Christ, looks like we need to win to keep pace.

Yeah, I think it's more likely we catch SD/LAD than Mil at this point. (SD 1 game ahead of LAD)

If you take the Cubs' and Brewers' last ten games each, they combine for exactly one loss in games in which they weren't playing against each other. I don't see either team slowing down. It's very possible that the one who goes 6-1 over this stretch against Wash-Pit will lose a game of ground.

Well if we keep chasing them we will run down the wild card at some point.

Is anybody trying to listen to the Pittsburgh broadcast through gameday audio? I get the Milwaukee broadcast but just get music on the Pittsburgh station.

And Vance and I are the only people who care. :D

not true...I care....I hate seeing the Brewers win...its very frustrating to have the Cubs play this well and not see a ton of gain in the standings.
