I'm surprised Z isn't trying to do a pickoff attempt. The runner is leaning away from the bag...

 

Yeah, he just did and almost caught him napping.

Yeah, I must had missed that part, but still, the way the runner was leaning, he's bound to slip while trying to get back....

 

Oh well, no harm done. Struck him out.

It would have been an interesting pickoff with Lee playing behind the runner.

I know he's at 100+, but I'd still like to see Z go out for one more inning if he has it in him.

My old teammate Wellemeyer is getting lit up by Arizona. When he pitches I just hope that he pitches well, but the Cardinals still lose.

I don't mean bad on Welly, but I'm glad the Royals finally wised up and let him go.

He's had a hard time figuring it out and making the necessary judgments. He has a great arm, but really can't harness it.
