Brewers win 6-3 on a 3 run walk off homer in the 11th.

When are they going to have to play a real team?

As soon as the cubs do...

The Rockies are a hell of a lot more formidable than the Astros.

And the Tigers and Twins are a lot more formidable than the White Sox. I don't see what there is to complain about.

When the Cubs were playing the White Sox, the Brewers were playing the Royals.

The only quality pitcher they faced in that span was Verlander (and we all know what happened then).

The Royals are arguably better than the White Sox right now. Twins (home and road), Tigers (road), Royals > Mariners (home), Sox.

And when the Brewers were playing the Tigers weren't the Cubs playing the Mariners, who at the time were one of the hottest teams in baseball?

But whatever, I don't really buy into this anyways, it's just the nature of division and league we're in.

The Cubs have won 6 in a row and only gained 1 game, that sucks yes, but they have a chance to change that this weekend and hopefully they take advantage.

Yes, when the Mariners came to town they were riding a 5 game winning streak and very confident. The are better than the Royals.

It does suck, but just think how far back the Cubs would be without this current winning streak.

I can live with it for now.

This talk of teams is pretty pointless, IMO. The Brewers have won 12 of their last 14. No major league schedule is easy enough for 14 games to make winning 12 of them anything but impressive, to say the least. This weekend is going to be a HUGE test for both teams, no two ways about it.

Royals win 1-0. and sweep the Angels in the process. Royals also have a 4 game winning streak.

I know. Another shocking thing is, IIRC, this is the Royals first winning month in 4 years.

They're within a game of the White Sox for 4th place in the AL Central.

Pending the outcome of the Sox/Rays game tonight. If Sox win, it's still 1.5 behind. If Rays win, I believe that makes it a half game.

That's why I'm really wanting the Rays to win tonight. Would had been nice if the Sox lost their last 2 games aganist the Rays, as the Royals would have sole possesion of 4th already.

when you miss Santana and Silva in both series, the Twins aren't formidable in any way shape or form.

you should also be grateful about two one run wins in Detroit. Guillen out of that lineup is a big cog missing, especially when replaced with Neifi.

Royals better than M's? did you seriously just say that?

since they last faced the Cubs, the Brewers have faced Verlander. other than that, I think the only starters they've faced that are even league average are Durbin and Bannister.

You've done well in games you should have won, and had alot of games you should have won simply because of the luck of the draw, which like it or not will always play a large part in baseball, or at least until starting pitching becomes irrelevant. be happy about that, and move on.

like I just explained, congrats to them for winning their games, but lesser teams could have done similarly against the pitching they've faced.

Brewers fans are starting to get a little jumpy around here. I love it.

HeeeHeeeeHeeeeeeeeeee.

Roger. What a dope. I'm not proud of it but I get great joy out of Yankees losses, not to mention the possibility for significant financial gains if things keep going this way.
