I don't think so. They waited till the last minute to DL him because they wanted to keep him on the roster. I highly doubt he'd be available to pitch, but he woulnd't have been DLed. I think they wanted to keep Dempster on the roster incase he felt better by the weekend to pitch against Milwaukee.

Yeah i know what you're saying...but Ohman is very good against Lefties. Tough call.
