Marmol in to pitch for the CUBS

Carroll doubled to center field

Sullivan singled to center field , Carroll scored

Taveras bunted for an IF single to the catcher , Sullivan to second

Tulowitzki called out on strikes

Holliday struck out swinging

Ohman in to pitch for the CUBS

Helton popped out to shortstop

It's June 26, and the Cubs have the same record as the Yankees.

 

Not quite the same ring as could have been expected, though.

I'm really starting to question the advisability of taking an 8-3 lead.

Whattaya talking about?? Cubs are 2-0 this season when taking an 8-3 lead in late June.

I'm really starting to question the advisability of taking an 8-3 lead.

Whattaya talking about?? Cubs are 2-0 this season when taking an 8-3 lead in late June.
