um, for a guy who is 28 years old and looks like he is in his mid to late 30's...does that make you guys at all nervous?

don't get me wrong, I really like aramis, but he just looks terrible...plus he looks like one of those guys that doesn't take care of himself and who *could* be looking at some not so fun injuries in the near future...

thoughts?

This post really makes no sense, considering Aramis is easily one of the best hitters on the team and in the league.

And, why in the world did you spell his name backwards in the post title?

i like calling him simara...a bit too inside for you guys...i am sorry

and lastly...nevermind...i guess i am the only cubs fan on here who seems to have any concern at all for the health and future of our star 3rd baseman...

just food for thought and no one liked my baking...i can accept that

He has gotten injured a fair amount, but what's the use in worrying about it?

I'm more worried about our first baseman who can't hit home runs.

How many does he have? 6?

that is troubling, but dlee looks like he is in great shape...actually...i am going to go out on a limb here and say that in the second half of the season he is really going to start silencing the loss of power chants

6, which puts him on a record pace for 14 in 612 AB

I don't understand how Ramirez looks terrible.

listen, i could be completely wrong, it wouldn't be the first time...looking at him this season though, i just really really hope he takes care of himself on a regular basis because he looks like the type of guy who would start to break down in a few years if he didn't

i might be wrong

I understand Ramirez could break down in a few years, and that would suck. But again, how does he look terrible?

Aramis' injuries are just something that we have to live with. I will take 120 games of 35+ HR 100 RBI production a year. It's not like we usually have to worry about having him healthy for the playoffs anyways.

He is probably in great shape, but if he's lost power in his swing because of the broken wrist, he can do all the crunches and pushups he wants, it's not gonna help.

LOL at being worried about Aramis because he "looks old" but is producing and feeling good about D-Lee who looks great but has only 6 HR at the end of June.
